Researchers are now using two methods to recycle plastic:

In the first method, plastics such as water bottles: washed and crushed or grated, melted and re-produced.

The second method, which is used for dirty and contaminated plastics, is spitting or pyrolysis; the method of work is to break the plastic with high heat to be used as oil and for energy.

Recycling mark on plastics

The triangle recycling symbol is marked with the numbers 1 to 7 inside it.

The meanings of the numbers are as follows:

1 Inside the triangle: Polyethylene terephthalate plastic material is PET or PETE. It is usually used on bottles of non-alcoholic beverages and water, salad dressings, vegetable oil dishes and mouthwash bottles.

2 Inside the triangle: Polyethylene compressed plastic (HDPE). Bottles of milk, shampoo, motor oil bottles, shopping and trash bags, bags inside serial boxes, and bottles of household cleaners and detergents.
